In 2010, I moved to Prague and started writing for an album in the style of The Big Sleep. I wrote about four tracks before admitting to myself that I was bored. So I remixed some of what I'd done into a set of three electronic tracks (tracks 1-3 here) and kept going from there.

By 2011, I'd started messing with my sleep patterns to see what affect it could have on writing. I started exclusively listening to ambient music to get a better grasp of how to create more space in my own music as well as how to use texture to create mood. During four days without any sleep I wrote most of tracks 9, 10, and 11.

Overall I finished about 30 new tracks and I was intending on releasing a series of EPs, but life stuff got in the way. So now, five years later, I've compiled this album out of three of the EPs which I think go well together. It's available to buy at BandCamp.
